  • Stuttgart/Reutlingen, May 23, 2022 - Daimler Truck AG will become a major anchor shareholder in German high-tech engineering company Manz AG (https://www.manz.com) through a capital increase of around ten percent, subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities. In addition, in a first step both companies have signed a cooperation agreement on a strategic partnership to establish a pilot line for the production of lithium-ion battery cells and for the assembly of batteries at Daimler Truck’s Mannheim site.

(“Shell”) have signed an agreement to jointly drive the adoption of hydrogen-based fuel-cell trucks in Europe. The companies plan to support the decarbonisation of road freight by building-out hydrogen-refuelling infrastructure and placing fuel-cell trucks in customers’ hands.
  • Stuttgart / Wörth am Rhein , Apr 30, 2021 - Dr. Matthias Jurytko, currently Plant Manager and Head of Production at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth, will move to cellcentric, the fuel cell joint venture of Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group, as of 1 June 2021. He will take over the role of Managing Director and CEO there.

  • Stuttgart, Feb 13, 2019 - The Supervisory Board of Daimler AG has appointed Harald Wilhelm as member of the company’s Board of Management. Effective as of April 1, 2019, he will join the Board of Management without direct responsibilities and will assume Board of Management responsibility for Finance & Controlling and the Daimler Financial Services division at the end of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on May 22, 2019.
