After a break of almost three years - and just in time for its 60th anniversary - the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth am Rhein will once again be offering guided tours of truck production from May 2, 2023.

The Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth is celebrating a special anniversary: the Unimog has been produced here for 20 years. After the vehicle had been manufactured at the sister plant in Gaggenau for many years, production of the universal engine-powered machine moved from Gaggenau to the Wörth plant in 2002.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has set itself the ambitious goal of 100 percent electrification of delivery traffic to its largest truck plant by the end of 2026, making a significant part of direct supply chain CO2-neutral.
