After a break of almost three years - and just in time for its 60th anniversary - the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth am Rhein will once again be offering guided tours of truck production from May 2, 2023.

With an area of almost three million square meters, Wörth plant is the world's largest in the Mercedes-Benz Trucks production network. With around 10,000 employees, it is also the second-largest employer in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth is celebrating a special anniversary: the Unimog has been produced here for 20 years. After the vehicle had been manufactured at the sister plant in Gaggenau for many years, production of the universal engine-powered machine moved from Gaggenau to the Wörth plant in 2002.
